Jerad Turns 5?!!?

How is it possible that my "baby" is 5 already? For Jerad's 5th birthday we made birthday cake cupcakes, with chocolate frosting. Jerad and Eli helped decorate them with Gummy Bears and sprinkles. We celebrated Jerad's birthday at Chuck E Cheese's. Jerad and his party guests had a blast. I did too! Time sure does fly!!! Jerad, we love you so very much! May you have many more happy birthday's to come!!! <3

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas...

I love, love, love Christmas!!! I look forward to this time of year every year. Jerad, whom is almost 5, is super excited this year. He tells everyone over, and over what he wants for Christmas. It was very important to me though, that he knows that Jesus' birth, is the true reason we celebrate Christmas. Eli loves all the Christmas lights, and decorations. He looks out our front door every night at the Christmas lights across the street. He can say Christmas, even though it sounds more like glasses. I can't wait to experience this Christmas season with all my family, and friends!
For unto us a child is given...

Thankfully Thankful!!!!

I asked Jerad and Eli what they are thankful for, excluding toys. Jerad said, " Jesus, t.v., and Mommy." Eli said, " Mommy, and muffins." I think their answers were good. Well, except for the t.v. part. I especially liked the "Mommy" part. It is always good to remember to be thankful, for so many do without.

I am thankful for my husband, who loves me unconditionally, and works so hard for our family. I'm thankful for two sweet little boys and all the joy, and noise, they bring ALL day long. I'm thankful for family. For All God has done for me. For our church, and church friends. For always having enough.

For all of you that make our little family better we truly LOVE you, and THANK YOU!!!!

Unexpected Miracles...

Sometimes in life you get unexpected miracles. That's what happened to us on October 1, 2010. We found out we were expecting a baby. We were surprised but also excited! The first doctor's visit went great. I was feeling great and praying all would go well in this pregnancy. I went for an ultra sound on October 21st. The ultra sound tech said I couldn't be as far along as I thought. They couldn't see a fetus, or hear a heart beat. It was in this moment, I  think I knew deep down, that something wasn't right. I spoke to the doctor, and though she was trying to reassure me, I saw worry/concern in her eyes. I had blood drawn to check my hcg level, and was to go in on Monday to check my levels again. I was scared and knew, deep down, this was the begining of the end. I shook my fears off and went to a consignment sale the next day. I didn't sleep well that night. I had a pounding headache all night. The kiddos, and Jeremy went to Stewart to visit family, while I stayed home. I didn't feel good all that day. I did sleep well that night, but when I woke-up, early the next morning, I had started to miscarry. I spent the morning in the ER, where all my fears were realized.... Two weeks later now I'm coping the best I can. I have a great husband, and two sweet boys. I count my blessings, and take the rest day by day. I decided to tell you all this to help my heart heal... <3

Eli's 2nd birthday!!!

I can't believe my baby is two already!!! Wasn't it just yesterday that I was holding him in my arms for the first time?!? Eli has come a long way this year! From scooting on his bottom, to walking and now running & dancing! He has a very large vocabulary also! Just about anything you say he can try and repeat it.

Eli has his birthday party yesterday! He had so much fun! We had a cookout with family and friends. He got lots of fun presents! I made an Elmo cake for him, that we ate with icecream! Yummy!!! Jerad was more excited than Eli about the party! He couln't wait to open presents!!!

I pray this year is even better than the last for my sweet Eli! We love you so much precious boy!!! <3

Summertime and the livins easy...

Well, its full blast summertime now. So hot it will, for sure, melt your popsicle! We have been spending alot of time in the pool. Trying to stay as cool as possible! We just had VBS at our church. Jerad had a great time! (Eli wasn't old enough to attend this year.) Eli is walking all the time now. In fact he's practically running!!! Jerad is about 4 1/2 years old, and Eli is almost 23 months old. Pretty soon I will be busy planning an Elmo birthday party for a certain sweet toddler. Oh summertime you are indeed hot but oh so much fun!!!!!
