Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas...

I love, love, love Christmas!!! I look forward to this time of year every year. Jerad, whom is almost 5, is super excited this year. He tells everyone over, and over what he wants for Christmas. It was very important to me though, that he knows that Jesus' birth, is the true reason we celebrate Christmas. Eli loves all the Christmas lights, and decorations. He looks out our front door every night at the Christmas lights across the street. He can say Christmas, even though it sounds more like glasses. I can't wait to experience this Christmas season with all my family, and friends!
For unto us a child is given...

Thankfully Thankful!!!!

I asked Jerad and Eli what they are thankful for, excluding toys. Jerad said, " Jesus, t.v., and Mommy." Eli said, " Mommy, and muffins." I think their answers were good. Well, except for the t.v. part. I especially liked the "Mommy" part. It is always good to remember to be thankful, for so many do without.

I am thankful for my husband, who loves me unconditionally, and works so hard for our family. I'm thankful for two sweet little boys and all the joy, and noise, they bring ALL day long. I'm thankful for family. For All God has done for me. For our church, and church friends. For always having enough.

For all of you that make our little family better we truly LOVE you, and THANK YOU!!!!

Unexpected Miracles...

Sometimes in life you get unexpected miracles. That's what happened to us on October 1, 2010. We found out we were expecting a baby. We were surprised but also excited! The first doctor's visit went great. I was feeling great and praying all would go well in this pregnancy. I went for an ultra sound on October 21st. The ultra sound tech said I couldn't be as far along as I thought. They couldn't see a fetus, or hear a heart beat. It was in this moment, I  think I knew deep down, that something wasn't right. I spoke to the doctor, and though she was trying to reassure me, I saw worry/concern in her eyes. I had blood drawn to check my hcg level, and was to go in on Monday to check my levels again. I was scared and knew, deep down, this was the begining of the end. I shook my fears off and went to a consignment sale the next day. I didn't sleep well that night. I had a pounding headache all night. The kiddos, and Jeremy went to Stewart to visit family, while I stayed home. I didn't feel good all that day. I did sleep well that night, but when I woke-up, early the next morning, I had started to miscarry. I spent the morning in the ER, where all my fears were realized.... Two weeks later now I'm coping the best I can. I have a great husband, and two sweet boys. I count my blessings, and take the rest day by day. I decided to tell you all this to help my heart heal... <3

Eli's 2nd birthday!!!

I can't believe my baby is two already!!! Wasn't it just yesterday that I was holding him in my arms for the first time?!? Eli has come a long way this year! From scooting on his bottom, to walking and now running & dancing! He has a very large vocabulary also! Just about anything you say he can try and repeat it.

Eli has his birthday party yesterday! He had so much fun! We had a cookout with family and friends. He got lots of fun presents! I made an Elmo cake for him, that we ate with icecream! Yummy!!! Jerad was more excited than Eli about the party! He couln't wait to open presents!!!

I pray this year is even better than the last for my sweet Eli! We love you so much precious boy!!! <3

Summertime and the livins easy...

Well, its full blast summertime now. So hot it will, for sure, melt your popsicle! We have been spending alot of time in the pool. Trying to stay as cool as possible! We just had VBS at our church. Jerad had a great time! (Eli wasn't old enough to attend this year.) Eli is walking all the time now. In fact he's practically running!!! Jerad is about 4 1/2 years old, and Eli is almost 23 months old. Pretty soon I will be busy planning an Elmo birthday party for a certain sweet toddler. Oh summertime you are indeed hot but oh so much fun!!!!!

Eli's came along way in the month of May!!!

So, I haven't written in awhile... As you know it has taken a long time for Eli to learn to walk. He has been in the First Steps Program's system since he was 18 months old. We had not heard from them or a physical therapist, in about 2 months. Any way, at 22 months old Eli began walking!!! Praise the Lord!!!! The week after he started walking I heard from the First Steps cordinator. I told her we do not need their services now! Its funny how things worked out. God's timing is perfect!!!! Now almost a month later Eli is practically running!!!! He's full of energy!

Life as we know it...

I thought I would update my blog. So, here goes... Eli got ear tubes put in March the 19th. The day after he stood up inthe middle of the floor, like he had been doing it all along. So, I'm certain if he had had tubes sooner he would be walking by now! Eli is 20 months old now. He is pulling up on everything, and cruising. He took his first steps last Sunday! Eli walked with his walker this morning, which is a BIG improvement. Eli not walking yet has REALLY tested my faith. I have been having a real tough time with it. I know he will walk, though. Only God knows why some things happen. I just have to trust that God's timing IS PERFECT!

Jerad is learning to write his ABC's. Upper, and lower case. We are on the "C" right now. Jerad is such a sweet tempered child, most of the time. Jerad is using the "real" potty now, with the help of an Elmo Potty seat. Jerad talks ALL THE TIME! He keeps Eli and I laughing during the day.

Well, friends I hope you enjoyed a glimpse into our daily walk. I will write again soon... NOW I KNOW THE PLANS I HAVE FOR YOU, DECLARES THE LORD. PLANS TO PROSPER YOU, NOT TO HARM YOU. PLANS TO GIVE YOU A HOPE AND A FUTURE. JEREMIAH 29:11

Intoducing our new blog!

I have been wanting to create a family blog for some time now. Since the boys are having nap time I thought was as good a time as any. Speaking (or writing) about the boys, I may as well catch you up on them first. Jerad is four years old. Where oh where did the time go? He loves to talk. He loves books. We are starting home schooling K4, this fall. (This year will determine if we want to continue with homeschooling, or not.) Eli is 19months old. He is our "spunky" one. He isn't walking yet. Eli has had ALOT of ear infections. He will be geting ear tubes put in March19th. We think that will help with his walking and talking. Eli also has his evaluations coming up, March31st, for his physical therapy and speech therapy. I am a happy stay-at-home-Mommy. AND this is our life...

This is Our story...

Jeremy, Andrea, Jerad, and Elijah (more commonly known as Eli)! Here is a look into our lives...
